What is a Twitch extension?
As a streamer, you can add extensions to your Twitch channel. These are small programs / tools that your viewers can use to carry out live interactions in your stream, for example. RealVoiceBot is such a Twitch extension that allows viewers to have messages read out by AI voices in your stream.
Can anyone install the RealVoiceBot extension in their own stream?
The RealVoiceBot Twitch Extension is currently in beta testing. If you are a streamer, you can install it via your Twitch Creator dashboard. Simply search for RealVoiceBot and follow the instructions.
What can the RealVoiceBot Twitch extension do?
Once you've added them to your panel and finished setting them up here on realvoicebot.wtf, your viewers will be able to play messages for bits in the AI voices you've shared, live during your stream.
Is the RealVoiceBot Twitch Extension free of charge?
You can install the extension itself free of charge and also test it for yourself via a free plan. You can find all further information in your RealVoiceBot dashboard after logging in.
Does the RealVoiceBot Twitch extension also work on a cell phone or tablet?
All your viewers can use the Realvoicebot Twitch extension during your livestream on IOS or Android devices as well as in the browser. Especially for IRL streams, this will certainly bring a lot of funny moments. Viewers who want to use the extension via the Twitch app will find it above the chat on the right (small icon). Viewers on PC will find it below your stream video in your channel's panels.
Who developed the RealVoiceBot extension?
Hi, that's me DerKompass. I have been programming web systems & apps for over 20 years. For 4 years I have been supporting streamers on Twitch and realizing their technical interactive ideas and plans for their stream and communities. So far, my developed extensions have been programmed specifically for one stream and could therefore only be used exclusively for this stream.
With the RealVoiceBot I break out of this approach and provide you with my first AI voice Twitch extension for your stream.
I don't hear any sound in the stream
There can be many different reasons why no sound is played. If you have activated the RealVoiceBot ChatBot, please check that 1. the browser source has been added in your OBS or streaming app and that you are in the correct scene. 2. that the text does not contain any bad words. The AI blocks most obscene input and your viewer will still be charged for the bits! Please make this clear to your viewers! A refund is only possible via Twitch itself and Twitch will certainly check the text. If you cant find a solution, then come to our Discord and we will see what we can do :)
A viewer would like a refund
If a viewer wants to have their bits refunded, they must contact Twitch directly, as the RealVoiceBot does not accept any payment. The bits are paid out exclusively via Twitch to you as the streamer.
Can I set the amount of bits?
Of course, you can specify how many bits a viewer must output for each individual voice. The minimum is 50 and the maximum 10000 bits.
Can I replay voice messages?
Yes, in the dashboard in the "Voice Alerts" section you can replay messages that have already been created. No credits will be charged again for this.
A voice is too quiet or too loud what can I do?
I am already working on a feature to be able to preset the volume for individual voices via the dashboard. However, this is not possible yet. What you can do is simple. Make sure that the audio you upload for your AI voice is at the right volume. If they are too loud or too quiet, change the volume using an audio program and create a new voice :)
What happens if the browser source is not active?
In this case, the voice messages will accumulate but will not be played. Your viewers can also send messages when you are offline. You will find a small red X symbol in the dashboard under "Voice Alerts" for unplayed messages. Click on the replay button as soon as your BrowserSource is active.
Error: "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."
This error message appears within the RealVoiceBot extension when you try to send a voice in your own panels with your Twitch account via the RealVoiceBot extension, because you cannot give yourself bits on Twitch.
Can anyone use my own Voices?
A very clear NO! All voices that you upload can only be used by you. On Elevenlabs.io you have the option of having your own voices checked and then submitting them for the voice library. However, this is not possible via the RealVoiceBot.
